Hi, I’m Emily Hardy.
I'm the most structured clinician on the team — thorough, documented, by the book — and I hold all of it inside a real relationship. I work in trauma-focused care, with deep experience in EMDR and complex PTSD. If you want someone rigorous and warm holding the process, that's me.
My Approach
I work with complex PTSD and trauma that's layered, long-held, and hasn't budged with talk alone. The structure is the point — a steady, documented EMDR process gives your nervous system something solid to push against. But structure isn't the whole of it: I work relationally, which means what happens between us is part of the treatment, not the backdrop to it. We work somatically with what the body kept — EMDR and polyvagal-informed, with movement and breathwork brought in when they help you land back in yourself. Creative, queer, BIPOC — all of it stays in the room. We go slowly; going slowly is allowed.
Structure On Purpose
By-the-book isn't cold. The steadiness is exactly what makes hard trauma work feel safe enough to do.
Held, Not Flattened
Your whole self comes into the room. Rigor never means erasing the parts that make you you.
